Can we get on some sort of routine here?
Win. Lose. Win 2. Lose 3. Maybe I'm spoiled and I've seen the Yankees win more than 5 games in a row with only 1 loss here and there. I can't get used to this torture. Just when I think we're on a roll. We get knocked down a few games. The yanks are currently 5 games behind the Oriole, who are leading the AL East Division. We still have time (I hope).
Last night was another disappointment. The Yankees lost to the Angels 1-5. But that one run that the Yankees DID manage to put up there on the board was from none other than Alex Rodriguez's solo home run shot. At least one thing is consistent in Yankee baseball.
On another note:
Chien-Ming Wang will make his first major league start this Saturday against the Blue Jays. After Jaret Wright injured his shoulder, the Yanks needed someone to step in. They looked to their minor league in Columbus for someone to fill in. Wang was a member of the Chinese-Taipei Olympic baseball team and does have some pretty impressive numbers in the minor leagues. Maybe he will be able to spruce up what the Yankees need most: BETTER PITCHING!

3 Comments:
Wang is pitching out of his mind right now and is in position for the win.

So are the oriols good this year? Im confussed. I always thought they sucked, but ive noticed they have beaten some pretty good teams. I guess in basebass teans win and lose all the time. I use to love the oriols when i was little HAHA. I think i jsut liked the food at the ballpark. Im just shocked they are beating teams like the Yanks. I hope your boys pick it back up

I had no idea there was Chinese-Taipei Olympic baseball team. You learn something new everyday. Were they good? I don't know even know where else baseball is a popular sport. It's like, Europe is known for football (soccer), and we're known for american football I feel like, and baseball. And China?
