Now that the Yankees 2005 season is in full-swing, I feel its about time for an update. Since my last post, the Yankees lost miserably to the Orioles. My excuse this time will be that Carl Pavano (a new acquisition) just isn't used to how it feels to be a Yankee yet. That sounds like a good reason... right...
Anyway, as for you Red Sox fans ... you can prance around all you want. Big deal, you won ONE GAME. But we still beat you in the first TWO! AND we embarassed you in the first. And don't even try to pull that "But we won the world series" thing on me. Big deal, one time in 80-something years isn't really much to be proud of. We've won 26!!! How do you like them apples? I'd be surprised if you could pull it off this year too .. in fact, I'll give up chocolate for a year if the Red Sox are able to pull it off this year too...
On a separate note...
It was definitely UN-COOL to hit Derek Jeterin the head with a pitch. Granted, it was a wild pitch and what-not but, I think that this pitcher should be FIRED! I have better aim than him! Maybe I'm just mad that he hit him.

I grew up in maryland, so of course i am a fan of the oriols (acctually i am a fan of their ballpark, not really the team, i use to be, got over that fase in my life real quick) but they are a team taht really confuses me. I thought the Oriols stunk? Am i right about this? Cuz i went to see them play the red sox last summer and they were doing pretty well, and now that i hear they beat the Yankees im thinking maybe they arent that bad?? but i could be totally off. I think its awful that someone aimed for one of the Yankees, thats unsportsman like! Was it done on purpose? If it was could the pitcher get suspended?
